2024 Chapter Highlights
2024 Chapter Highlights
As we reflect on 2024, we are proud to share the progress and impact of our ongoing commitment to Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School (OLASS), Yaba. Our chapter has made meaningful strides in giving back and building forward.
Executive Transition
In January 2024, we welcomed a new team of chapter executives following a successful election and smooth transition. We’re grateful for the service of our past leaders and excited for the continued growth under new leadership
Monthly General Meetings
Our chapter continues to meet monthly to align on goals, initiatives, and community engagement. Each meeting begins with a powerful moment of prayer led by the Prayer Committee on the Saturday preceding the meeting.
Food Support to the Boarding House
Sponsorship at OLASS is an opportunity to directly influence the future. Your support can provide underprivileged students with access to quality education and transform their lives. Join us in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
The Solar Project
Through our 2024 Walkathon, we raised $4,000 to fund the installation of solar power in the school’s hostel. Many of us remember studying by candlelight or lantern during power outages. This solar project is our way of ensuring today’s girl child has the tools to succeed no matter the circumstances.
Community Giving
In the spirit of service, we donated to the House of Ruth and the Salvation Army, extending our support beyond OLASSA to reach women and families in need.
Financial Literacy Session
We hosted a professional financial literacy workshop that provided members with practical insights on managing personal and collective finances. This is part of our commitment to empower one another, both personally and professionally.
New Chapter Tools
To enhance communication and operations, we launched our official Zoom account and secured a PO Box for chapter correspondence.
Become A Member
Our chapter remains driven by a spirit of unity, faith, and purpose. We are grateful for every member’s contribution and are committed to building on this momentum as we serve and uplift our alma mater and our broader communities.
